How to Update Your Banner and Cover Images

Follow these steps to update your LinkedIn banner, Google Business Profile cover image, and Facebook page cover image.

LinkedIn: Update Your Banner Image

Best done on desktop.

  1. Log in to LinkedIn.
  2. Go to your profile (click your profile photo, then choose View Profile).
  3. Hover over the banner area at the top of your profile.
  4. Click the camera icon on the banner.
  5. Select Upload photo and choose your new banner image.
  6. Reposition if needed, then click Apply.
  7. Click Save.

Google Business Profile: Update Your Cover Image

You must be logged into the Google account that manages the profile.

  1. Search your business name in Google (while logged in).
  2. In your Business Profile panel, click Edit profile.
  3. Select Photos.
  4. Choose Cover.
  5. Upload your new image and save.
  6. Allow time for Google to review changes if needed.

Facebook Page: Update Your Cover Image

Works on desktop and mobile, desktop is easiest for repositioning.

  1. Log in to Facebook and open your business page.
  2. Hover over the cover area (desktop) or tap the cover (mobile).
  3. Select Edit cover photo.
  4. Choose Upload photo and select your new cover image.
  5. Reposition if required.
  6. Click Save changes.
